Welcome to MyTrovia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (mytrovia.com). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

MyTrovia uses Google APIs to allow users to sign in and authenticate securely. MyTrovia's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you choose to sign in to MyTrovia using your Google account, we request and access the following specific types of Google user data: • Your primary email address • Your basic profile information (specifically your full name) • Your profile picture (Avatar URL)

We use the Google user data we access strictly for the following purposes: • Authentication & Account Creation: To verify your identity and create your secure MyTrovia user account. • Profile Population: We use your name and profile picture to automatically set up your initial MyTrovia user profile. • Communication: We use your email address as a unique identifier for your account.

We do not sell your Google user data to third parties. Your Google user data is only shared in the following limited circumstances: • Public Profile: Your name and profile picture are displayed on your public MyTrovia profile. • Service Providers: We share this data with our backend database provider (Supabase) solely for securely storing your account.

We take the security of your data seriously. Your data is stored securely in our cloud database, which utilizes industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (SSL/TLS). We do not store your Google password; we rely entirely on secure, token-based OAuth authentication.

Retention: We retain your Google user data for as long as your MyTrovia account remains active. Deletion: You have the right to request the complete deletion of your data at any time via the Settings menu or by contacting support.

Outside of Google authentication, we collect information you voluntarily provide such as User-Generated Content (reviews, ratings) and Social Connections (friends).

MyTrovia has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Users caught posting harassment, hate speech, explicit content, or other abusive material will have their content removed and their accounts permanently banned.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date.
